Washing Maching Requirements

We recommend using a front-loading washing machine only for mid-high piles for the best results. Fibres can snag in top-loading washing machines, which can lead to matting, increased shedding and overall wear over time.

Care Instructions

Daily Care

Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment, following the pile's direction. Avoid rotating brushes or stiff bristles that can snag cotton loops. In high-traffic spots, vacuum more often and wipe up debris promptly.

Cleaning Method

Blot spills immediately and spot-clean with mild, pH-neutral detergent in cool water. Machine wash gentle cycle, cold water (30°C max), mild detergent only—no softeners, bleach, or brighteners. Wash separately initially to prevent colour transfer. Tumble dry low or lay flat. For larger rugs, use a laundromat, shower, or bathtub.

Simple preventive measures significantly extend your rug's lifespan: always use rug pads to reduce wear and prevent slipping, place protective barriers under furniture legs, keep out of direct sunlight or rotate every 2-3 months to prevent fading, and store properly during seasonal changes to maintain its pristine condition.
