Daily Care

Vacuum using gentle suction to preserve the loop integrity.

Transport and Storage

When relocating your rug, fold it into rectangular sections rather than rolling. This approach compresses the rug back to 100cm for considerably easier transport. Return the folded rug to its drawstring bag and secure with the adjustable carrying straps positioned on either side.

Spot Cleaning

Address spills immediately by soaking the area thoroughly with cold water and gentle detergent or a targeted stain spray. Always blot—never  rub—to draw out the liquid while protecting the rug’s loop structure. This proven method protects your investment while maintaining your rug’s premium appearance.

Home Care Method

These substantial rugs demand careful attention due to their impressive weight – up to 60kg depending on size. To preserve both the integrity of your investment and your washing equipment, we recommend targeted spot cleaning or gentle hand washing rather than machine washing. Begin with spot treatment for minor marks, then move to a shower or bathtub for thorough cleaning when comprehensive care is required.

Proper Drying Technique

The weight of heavy loop pile requires strategic drying. Lay your rug flat on a clean outdoor surface such as your driveway or patio for 24-36 hours, allowing natural sunlight to work its magic. Position heavy objects like books or weights at each corner to maintain the rug’s shape and prevent curling or shrinkage.
