About Brooch Burgundy Chenille Rug

Captivating and contemporary. Brooch explores traditional motifs through ornamental, abstract drawings. Designed to balance intricacy and detail with an undercurrent of modernism. Machine-washable and stain-resistant in a low-pile chenille.

Double the layers, Double the fun.

1. Make a mess. From wine afternoons and dinner parties to pet birthdays and pillow fights, let life happen.

2. Give it a wash. Forget the stress of spills or stains. Remove the top layer of your rug from the base and place it in the wash. Machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle before using mild, non-bleach detergent.

3. Dry & reconnect. Depending on the texture of your rug, gently hang to dry or machine tumble dry on a low heat setting. Reconnect your rug to the base and enjoy your home.

Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on all full-price items shipped within most regions of Australia for orders over $140 AUD. Due to increased carrier costs, additional fees may apply for some regional areas within Australia.

All orders below $140, and all final sale items shipped will incur additional delivery costs.

For New Zealand orders, shipping fees will be calculated at checkout. For all other international orders, please contact welcome@double.online for a custom shipping quote.

In-stock and ready to ship products typically ship within 2 business day and can be expected to arrive within 10 business days. Some remote Australian regions and international destinations may encounter longer transit times. Express shipping options are also available.

Misrepresentation of colour

"I was looking for a rug with a red tone and bought the Brooch Burgundy Chenille Rug. When I received the rug, the colour was singnificantly different from the picture provided on the website. I specifically filter the rug with colour and it was under red/maroon. Tried putting the rug under different lighting but still very different from what they shown and the rug name has Burgundy in it. In person it has more of golden/yellowish tone to it. Couldn't exchange the rug as it was finale item despite providing photos and explaining how different the colour was with what they presented online. The 2 stars is for the online customer service team member who helped me. They gave me $60 store credit but I will not be shopping from here ever again."

About Our Rugs

What is Double? How does it work?

Our rug system is simple and uncomplicated, designed to come apart in two layers for easy cleaning or machine washing whenever you need it.



What are your Double rugs made of?


Our top layers are made from a 100% recycled polyester, and our base layers are made from 100% sustainably sourced thermoplastic rubber and recycled polyester.


All our rug bases are constructed from a yoga-mat like material, for a nonslip and comfortable footing.



Where are Double rugs made?

All of our rugs are designed and developed at our headquarters in Australia and manufactured in India, Portugal and China to provide the most advanced technology for superior craftsmanship and long lasting durability.

Rug Care & Cleaning

How do I wash or clean my rug?

All our rugs are 100% machine washable and easy care, despite variation in texture. Please refer to your rug’s specific care instructions, here.
For any major accidents, remove the cover layer and wash immediately. Minor spills can be spot cleaned with a mild, non-bleach detergent.

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within Australia. We hope to expand this in the future.

Return & Exchange

What is your return / exchange policy?

With the exception of Final Sale items, all items purchased directly from Double can be returned for a full refund or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. We currently do not charge a restocking fee. However, we reserve the right to change our policy from time to time as business conditions change.

Any items returned in a condition deemed as no longer resalable will not be honoured for a refund.

For an item to be eligible for a return or exchange, it must be shipped back in its original packaging or similar packaging that will keep the item safe while in transit. The item must also be new, unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in resalable condition, free from:
Fur, dirt, stains, or any foreign material
Signs of wear or tear, washing, or damage due to improper care


Refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive your return and will be reflected in the original form of payment used during purchase, or in store credit if requested.
